For many years now, the lack of compensation for this work\u2014often produced under tight deadlines\u2014has been a source of debate. Some argue that it\u2019s simply \u201cpart of the game,\u201d but is it always worth the effort?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is precisely the question addressed by <em>La Fili\u00e8re Communication<\/em>, the professional association representing our industry ecosystem. With the support of the public sector, it has developed a Guide that marks a real turning point\u2014one that signals a positive transformation of a commercial practice that clearly deserves to be rethought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>The Guide\u2014what is it exactly?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em><strong>A set of guidelines designed to promote more responsible and attractive procurement processes.<\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This 24-page document (available <a href=\"https:\/\/filiere-communication.org\/consultations-publiques\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/filiere-communication.org\/consultations-publiques\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>) aims to encourage calls for tenders that are both more ethical and more effective, taking into account the expectations of clients\u2014and of agencies\u2014within a genuine win-win approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Guide addresses all the key issues: how to pre-select candidates, how to compensate them (including dedicated calculation methods), how to manage copyright, pricing, and timelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Public sector organisations have also committed to promoting these principles among buyers, communication managers, and all stakeholders involved in the industry.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Why does this matter so much to us?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is not about squeezing out a few extra euros. More responsible calls for tenders make a real difference.
